In person registration opens at 1:30pm at meeting location.


Description: Meet at THE POINT CDC for a tour of their native plant garden by the teen A.C.T.I.O.N. group that planted and maintains them, as well as seeing the rest of the facility and the different green infrastructure practices happening there.  Then walk down the block to visit the Bryant Hill Community Garden to learn about Hunts Point and Native American history from local resident Lucia Hernandez.  

Directions can be found at http://www.thepoint.org/directions.  We are located on the corner of Garrison Ave and Manida Street, but our entrance is through the large gates on Manida Street.
